It seems just about everyone is focusing on the Super Bowl this weekend and we all know that Super Bowl Sunday is not just about the game, but the food. In fact, according to Wikipedia, Super Bowl Sunday is second only to Thanksgiving for the amount of food consumed by Americans! So Kennett Square Winter Farmers Market aims to help you prepare for the big game day with some fresh, healthy, and local options.

Winter Market is held on the first and third Friday of the month from November through April, beginning at 2 pm and continuing until dusk. You will find the vendors set up outdoors along State Street and convenient parking is available in the borough garage at State & North Union St.

We are so very fortunate to have summer season sponsor Harvest Market continuing their support as our exclusive winter market sponsor. As an independently owned natural food store based in nearby Hockessin, Harvest Market carries a complete selection of organic and natural foods, nutritional supplements, and natural health care products. They also serve the community as a resource for health information through our large book selection, monthly events, and knowledgeable staff. They even have their own herbalist and registered nurse! Look for their table at the market occasionally or visit them at 7417 Lancaster Pike in DE.
