What’s Fresh This Week:Raspberries, peaches, tomatoes, corn, zucchini and so many other vegetables are in full swing! Blueberries are pretty much over, but early apples should start soon.  And this week we will have the pleasure of fresh figs by local gardener-extraordinaire, Carol Krawczyk! If you have never tasted a fresh fig, do not think Fig Newtons! The flavor is closer to a blend of peaches and strawberries.  It’s a short season, so be sure to stop by.    Nomadic Pie Truck brings a new 4.5 inch pie this week. Plan on peach-raspberry, peach, and apple-ginger sweet pies, plus mini quiches, and a spicy chicken savory pie with heritage breed-pastured-hormone/antibiotic-free chickens.  Did you happen to see the article in the local newspaper about Molly?

Down to Earth Farm has so many heirloom tomatoes: Green Zebras, San Marzanos (perfect for sauce), Sungold Cherry Tomatoes, and more!
Flickerwood Wines features their Sweet Angel Wine, a sweet red that’s perfect chilled for dessert.

La Cucina Verde will bring zucchini pickles, carrot kraut, blackberry preserve, stewed tomatoes, pickled garlic, and tomato sauce.

Freshapeel Hummus brings a Kale Pesto!

Nick’s Succulents brings large jade plants and milk plants.

It’s another great week at Market!  Every Friday 2 -6 pm.   See you there!
