Last Friday’s Market Opener was a rockin’ success!  With asparagus season finally underway, arugula rocketing up, and peas on the way, the ball is officially rolling for our favorite time of all, the eater’s epoch, Farmers’ Market Season. Here is the line-up for next Friday, May 13th, from 2-6pm, same time and place as always, so you can get your lists going…

  • Breads & Baked Goods by Amaranth Bakery (gluten-free), Big Sky Bread Company, Countryside Bakery, Papa’s Pastry Shop and Sweets By Samantha.  
  • Vegetables and fruits by Down To Earth CSA, Frecon Farms, Guinea Hen Farms, Jack’s Jams and Jellies, Londondale Farms, and The Mushroom Cap.  
  • Perennials, cut flowers, garden plants and veggie starters by Jubilee Hill Dahlias, Longwood Gardens Horticulture Students, North Creek Nurseries, and Shady Grove Greenhouses.
  • Meats and cheeses by God’s Country, Hood’s BBQ, Maiale Meats, and Red Haven Farms.
  • Miscellaneous items by Clarke Green’s Blade Sharpening, Ellen April Soaps, Fat Spike Lavender, Footprint Architecture, K-9 Kraving, Mom’s Pops and Monica’s Rainbarrels.
